Well, just when I have thought that I wouldn’t see the internet people again, I get a call from the front desk at 6:45 last night. Telefonica is here to install your “speedy” internet!!! What? That happened last week….

Anyway, the internet guy (not my regular one) came to the apartment and I explained that I already had the “mas velocidad”. I told him to check the computer anyway. Well, according to this guy, I still had the “400” speed and he could upgrade it to “1,200”. OK…whatever!!!!

We have “Vista” and here in South America, it has caused major problems. I don’t know what he did, but when he was finished, the internet would only work on the cable and not the wireless. So, he called his buddy to come. His buddy arrived at 8:45PM. By 9:30, I had “speedy internet” and access to my wireless….Yes, it is faster, but I really don’t see a huge difference from last week’s visit!!!

Hopefully, this will be the last of the Telefonica people. I can’t imagine what it is going to be like to disconnect everything!
